Pont Neuf

Although the name Pont Neuf means new bridge, it is actually the oldest bridge in the city. On the bridge stands a bronze Equestrian Statue of King Henri IV.

It is a delightful place to explore, offering stunning views of the Seine River and the enchanting cityscape. As the oldest standing bridge across the Seine, it boasts a rich history and a charming atmosphere. Stroll along its wide walkways, admire the beautiful sculptures and soak in the vibrant energy of Paris.

From time to time, artists decorate the bridge, sometimes it is covered with flower garlands, and other times performance art is made there. In 2015, the artist completely wrapped the Christo bridge in golden fabric.

Whether you’re a history enthusiast or simply looking for a picturesque spot to enjoy the city, this iconic bridge is sure to captivate your heart.
